Golf TPI Swing Assessment

Did you know that ~70% of golfers experience an injury each season? WHAT HAPPENS DURING A TPI SWING ASSESSMENT?

The focus of a TPI swing assessment is to look at an individual’s core strength, specifically abs and glutes, as well as their range of motion. We then assess the mobility of the individual’s neck, shoulders, mid-back rotators, lower back, hamstrings, calves, forearms, and hip rotators. We assess balance and the client’s ability to separate different parts of their body in sequence to get an ideal swing. Once this is complete, we generate a "handicap" and show what swing characteristics they are at risk for. We then focus on improving those areas and creating a more efficient swing.

FAQs

A TPI golf swing assessment is beneficial for golfers of all levels, from beginners to professionals. It’s particularly useful for those who want to improve their game, reduce the risk of injury, or have experienced inconsistencies or limitations in their golf swing. It’s also valuable for individuals returning to golf after an injury.

From a TPI assessment, you can expect to gain insights into how your physical capabilities influence your golf swing. The assessment identifies areas of your body that may need improvement for a more efficient and effective golf swing. You’ll also receive personalized exercises and drills to address these areas, ultimately helping to improve your overall golf performance.

A typical TPI golf swing assessment usually takes about an hour to complete, although the duration can vary depending on the individual’s needs and the complexity of their swing mechanics. This time includes the physical screening, swing analysis, and a review of the findings with recommendations for improvement.

It’s generally recommended to bring your own golf clubs to the TPI golf swing assessment. Using your own clubs allows the assessor to evaluate your swing in the most realistic and familiar conditions.
